Sam LaHood: The view from Washington – Geo-political Briefing

We are delighted to welcome Sam LaHood | Director - Government Relations, Bondi Partners, Washington to share insights.

Sam is a government relations specialist with experience spanning grassroots campaigns, national and international elections as well as having held various roles within the U.S. administration. 

He served in Washington D.C. and abroad at the International Republican Institute leading engagement with the U.S. Congress, represented the Institute at donor and diplomatic events, observed five international elections, testified before Congress, and conducted numerous print, radio, and television interviews. 

Previously, Sam was a political appointee for the administration of President George W. Bush and served at the U.S. Mission in Baghdad from September 2005 until November 2006, where he was awarded the Department’s Meritorious Honor Award for his work on the crimes against humanity trial of Saddam Hussein. Sam also held positions in Washington DC at the U.S. State Department and with the U.S. Department of Energy and was responsible for planning and organizing campaign events for Senator McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. 

As the Director of Government Relations for Bondi Partners Advocacy in the U.S., Sam leads client engagement with the U.S. legislative and executive branches of government, building and sustaining effective relationships across the political spectrum.
