Global Insight on AI and the World Economy featuring Martin Schroeter, Chairman & CEO, Kyndryl and Peter Jennings, Director of Strategic Analysis Australia and Adjunct Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies.

Tuesday, 17 July 2025, 12:00pm - 2:00pm AEST

On behalf of the Business Circle and our partner Kyndryl, we are delighted to host this off-the-record exclusive peer to peer private roundtable discussion featuring Martin Schroeter, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Kyndryl and Peter Jennings, Director of Strategic Analysis Australia and Adjunct Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, moderated by Gill Savage, Deputy Director-General, National Archives of Australia.

Martin Schroeter is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kyndryl – a leading provider of mission-critical technology services supporting thousands of customers in more than 60 countries. As the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, Kyndryl designs, builds, manages and modernizes the complex information systems that the world depends on every day.

As a member of Business Roundtable, the Council on Foreign Relations and a recent speaker at the 2025 Semafor World Economy Summit in Washington, D.C. and the AI Action Summit in France, Martin will share his perspectives on how global business leaders are navigating geopolitical uncertainty and using technology to prepare their organizations and people for future disruptions.

Joining Martin will be Peter Jennings, one of Australia's leading voices on national security and defence policy. As the Director of Strategic Analysis Australia and former Executive Director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), Peter brings deep insight into the geopolitical forces shaping Australia’s future. With decades of experience advising government on intelligence, foreign affairs, and defence, Peter will provide a sharp perspective on how AI, technology, and global alliances intersect with Australia’s strategic interests in an increasingly uncertain world.

With today’s rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, the intersection of technology, governance, and strategic alliances has never been more critical. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with two global leaders on what it means to govern and lead in the age of AI - and how we can position Australia for the future.

As space is limited to ensure an intimate discussion, we urge you to RSVP at your earliest.
