The Health & Technology Dialogue will convene senior leaders from across the health and government sectors to explore how technology can drive more resilient, inclusive, and patient-centred healthcare systems. With featured speakers Fay Flevaras, Chief Digital Information Officer at the Department of Health, and Dr Zoran Bolevich, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW), the conversation will focus on three critical themes: building adaptable, AI-enabled health systems that can proactively respond to future challenges such as pandemics, natural disasters, and population ageing; enhancing mental health and community wellbeing through digital innovation, including the use of telehealth, GenAI virtual assistants, and remote support tools; and advancing Indigenous and inclusive health initiatives by applying ethical, culturally sensitive technology to close health equity gaps and improve outcomes for underserved communities.
